Setting up your own website can be difficult. The first thing you need is website hosting. Hosting gives you a place to put your website on the internet. Unfortunately, not all hosts are created equal.

You should always talk to your website designer before choosing a host. There are a lot of features and technologies that we (or your designer) may require, but only certain hosts will provide. After choosing a host, then you should purchase a domain name, through a quality registrar, such as GoDaddy.com
